Pastor Theodora L. Moten was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. In 1984, she moved to Austin to pursue her undergraduate studies at The University of Texas. After obtaining her Bachelor of Business Administration in May 1988, she worked in full-time ministry as the Chief Financial Officer for what was, at that time, one of the fastest growing charismatic ministries in Austin, Texas.
We aspire to provide wholistic ministry to, both, men and to women, including, but not limited to, addressing the Spiritual, Relational, Educational, Familial, Physiological, Financial and Social needs of those who are “in need”.
These monthly empowerment bible studies are open to, both, men and women and are designed to take each attendee’s life and relationship to the next level. During these sessions, the scriptures of God are explored in a very practical way so as to uncover the secrets to “abundant-life living”.
Jesus admonishes us (in Mark 10:15) to remember that “whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter in." This is precisely what Layla’s Corner is all about (learning how to receive the kingdom of God as a child would). Layla’s Corner coaches us on how to take life lessons from a child (Layla Bug) and apply them to our journey (sometimes a very ‘difficult’ journey) down the road to greater faith, greater love, greater forgiveness, greater maturity, greater destiny and, ultimately, greater righteousness.
The mission of “The Next Generation of God’s Leading Ladies” is to provide a comprehensive array of seasoned, mature Women of God (some of God’s best and brightest in the Kingdom) to impart character, content and courage in the young women (college-students and other young professionals) who participate in the program so that these young women can, ultimately, influence change by shifting the paradigm in this current societal age.

YOU BELONG HERE! The House of Bread Ministries Church is a place where EVERYONE is welcomed. Come join us in worship! We do evangelism outreach throughout the month in order to get outside of the 4 walls of the church to reach the lost. We are INSIDE the 4 walls on the 1st Sunday of each month when we have our big “Engathering” and “Empowerment” services to go before the Father and get recharged in the Holy Spirit! On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month, we do “external” evangelism and outreach so, we are NOT inside the 4 walls at the physical church building on 2nd, 3rd & 4th Sundays. We culminate our 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday external evangelism efforts with our live FB broadcast @ 2:00 p.m. on those Sundays. On the 5th Sunday of every month is our “SABBATH REST” so, there is no service or outreach on 5th Sundays. Truly, we are "CHANGING LIVES "ONE" MESSAGE AT A TIME!" For with the same measure that you measure, it shall be measured unto you. – (Luke 6:38)“Women Paying It Forward” is a Christian, 501(c) organization designed, specifically, to teach believers how to “pay it forward” and invest in the lives of others. Women Paying It Forward is committed to providing “wholistic” ministry to all people, including, but not limited to, addressing the Spiritual, Psychological, Relational, Educational, Familial, Physiological, Financial and Social needs of those who are “in need.” We believe that by modeling Christ (His love, His truth & His charity), we can make a lasting and permanent impact on the world as we demonstrate what it means to truly “pay it forward” and “give” of our time, talent & treasure in doing Kingdom ministry the way Jesus did it (which was by totally & completely giving of Himself for the good of others).
